Staying away from those Extra Pounds!

I’ve tried diets, but those pounds always come back. What should I do?

Most people regain weight when they stop dieting and return to how they ate before. After many cycles of this, it is easy to become frustrated and to give up and maybe even turn to food for emotional comfort.

Diets are mostly not effective, they are hard to maintain. You can’t kill your heart and stick to extremely low-calorie diets and restrictive eating patterns for a long time. Diets also slow the metabolism and eventually make you gain weight instead of losing.

Obesity is an ongoing disease, not a cosmetic problem. It means that you have excess body fat that is putting your health at risk.

If you are having too much fat it may affect you in several ways. First and foremost is its influence on your physical appearance - how you look and feel. It can also lead to several health problems, including type 2 diabetes, different types of heart diseases (including stroke), hypertension, high blood pressure, joint pains or arthritis, and sleeplessness.

What causes Obesity ?

Primary cause of obesity is intake of more calories than your body can use or burn. This may be dependant on lifestyle or your body’s metabolism.

Another primary reason could be your genes. If your family has a history of obesity, you may have a genetic tendency to gain weight.

Lifestyle - In this age of always-on-the-move lifestyle it is harder to plan and cook nutritious meals. Everybody finds it easier to reach for prepared or junk foods at nearest joints, or nearest drive-through. Often these foods are high in fat and calories, and portion sizes are too large.

Lack of Excercise - Our busy schedules dont allow us to excercise much. There is a increasingly lack of physical activity with advent of technology.

Obesity is a complicated disease, but there are many ways to treat it using Herbal Remedies. Alongwith Remedies you need to pick up a lifestyle which suits your body’s health. Weight-loss can’t work alone. Diet changes and physical activity are needed for keeping weight off long-term.
